Terms of Use

1. What Pickastor Is

Pickastor is a SaaS product that optimizes your e-commerce product data so that AI shopping platforms (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity) are more likely to recommend your products.

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Pickastor.

2. Your Account

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure
• You must be at least 16 years old to use Pickastor
• One account per person — don't share your login credentials

3. How Credits Work

Pickastor uses a credit-based system with one-time payments:

• Each product optimization costs 1 credit
• Credits are purchased in packages (not subscriptions)
• Credits never expire
• Re-optimizing a previously optimized product is free
• Your first 3 products are optimized free — no credit card needed

4. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed in EUR and include applicable taxes.

Because credits are digital goods that can be used immediately upon purchase, we generally do not offer refunds. However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using your credits, contact us at hello@pickastor.com and we'll make it right.

5. What You Can Expect

We commit to:

• Providing AI-optimized product data using current best practices
• Keeping your store credentials secure and encrypted
• Only accessing the product data we need — never orders, customers, or payments
• Making your product feed available for AI platforms
• Providing actionable readiness recommendations

6. What We Can't Guarantee

While we optimize your product data to maximize AI discoverability, we cannot guarantee:

• That AI platforms will recommend your specific products
• Specific sales increases or revenue outcomes
• Rankings on any specific AI platform
• That AI platforms won't change their algorithms

AI shopping is a rapidly evolving field. We continuously update our optimization approach, but the final recommendation decisions are made by third-party AI platforms that we do not control.

7. Your Content & Data

You own your product data. We optimize it, but we don't claim any ownership over your content. When you push optimized data back to your store, those changes become part of your store's content.

You grant us a limited license to process your product data solely for the purpose of providing our optimization service. We do not use your data for any other purpose.

8. Acceptable Use

Don't use Pickastor to:

• Optimize illegal or prohibited products
• Generate misleading or fraudulent product descriptions
• Abuse our API or attempt to circumvent usage limits
• Resell Pickastor credits or services to third parties
• Interfere with or disrupt our service

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance or updates. We'll try to notify you in advance for planned downtime.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice unless the violation requires immediate action.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pickastor's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of our service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Riga, Latvia.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email for significant changes. Continued use of Pickastor after changes means you accept the updated terms.
